Experimenting an old book feel on Photoshop. It looks more like a comic book rather than a picture one.. :( Maybe it can be a hybrid!
I’m so totally hooked looking at 50’s, 60’s modern illustrations. The one thing I really loathe about myself is not being able to decide on a style before really embarking on a “project” — I’m thinking of redrawing the entire series, but it’ll be a heck lotta work cuz I have to revamp and haul over the entire character models. And not only that I’ll have to buy a lot of watercolour paper to lay the paint on — I just realise that maybe I’m not that proficient in Illustrator after all so I’m thinking of handpainting the pictures…. but I’ll see how it goes..
I am also looking at old colour photos of ah pek singapore to get a feel of the colour scheme, and I’m currently considering blue, red and yellow…. Yeah and I’m deliberately making my pictures appear as if they have shitty printing. =D

I salvaged my bro’s old CPU board and turned it into some sorta …. post apocalpyse nuclear thingy with my Dad’s help. Here you can see I was quite obsessed with that game Fallout, Nuka Colas, the Garden of Eden Kit, retro space era and the atomic bomb scare between Russia and USA in the 60’s.
The bulb actually works, and can produce a small tungsten light if you switch it on. The tagline at the bottom right reads, “PROCREATION IS YOUR CIVIC DUTY.”
